At Somerville's Inner Belt, TWDX Infrastructure is delivering a 2,200 LF long Joint Use Communications Trench, directly linking downtown Boston to the region's transatlantic cable landing station and two large data centers in the area.
The project initially involved installations of over 25,000 circuit feet (4.7 miles) of conduit and 8 manholes, with additional extensions being added thereafter.
